1. Consider the system of Example 34.1 on page 572.

   Compute the average response time of the system if

   the V_B = 6, S_CPU = 0.014 seconds, and S_B = 0.04seconds

2. Consider a set of M/M/1 3 servers, operating in tandem. If the
   arrival rate to the system is 10 jobs per second, the service rates
   of the first and second server are 20 and 25 jobs per second
   respectively, what should the minimum service rate of the third
   server if the expected total number of jobs in the system should be
   no more than two?

3. What is the significance of Burke's Theorem and Jackson's Theorem?
