Scribing : Each participant is expected to scribe for up to three lectures (identified as a single block) of the course. The scheme is roughly as follows. If the last lecture is on date X, the rough notes should be sent out to the TAs on date X+2. This will be uploaded as it is at the course page. The final version of the lecture notes must be posted on date X+5. The TAs and the instructor gets a day each to process it and it should reach the webpage on date X+7 (one week from the last lecture in the block).

Here is the scribe list so far (go here for booking your slot):
Paper Presentation: Each participant is expected to present a research paper in the material related to the course. A list of proposed papers will be sent to the mailing list. The details of the implementation will depend on the exact number of participants of the course and will be sent to the course mailing list later. There will be topics from different themes and the presentations for the same will be scheduled at different times during the semester (not all will be at the end of the semester). The presentations will not be in the regular lecture slots.
Student Presentations : The following are possible topics for student presentations. Students should form groups (of possibly at most 2) and take up one topic each. Groups of larger size can be formed in consultation with the instructor. Each student will be given 45 minutes to talk about his or her part of the topic. We will schedule these meetings in the last week of October and Second week of November respectively.

Exam 1 : Sep 05, 2015 - Sat, 9am - 11am
