Activities

This page will list down the course activities in addition to the lectures.

Problem Sets(40%): There will be one problem set roughly once in every 15 days. Problem Set will be released in an incremental manner. That is, a problem will be available at the link from moodle on the same day the relevant material is taught in class. The last problem in a problem set will be added at least 5 days before the deadline. Following gives the deadline for the problem sets. All deadlines are at 10pm on the respective dates (which are set to Sundays by default).

• Problem Set 1 : Feb 02
• Problem Set 2 : Feb 23
• Problem Set 3 : Mar 01
• Problem Set 4 : Mar 22
• Problem Set 5 : Apr 05
• Problem Set 6 : Apr 19

There are six problem sets of which the best 5 will be taken each weighting 8%.

Exams (40%):

• Exam 1 (20%) : Feb 29, 10am - 12pm.
• Exam 2 (20%) : Apr 27, 10am - 12pm.

Course Project & Presentation (20%):
Here are the ground rules. Topics will be announced on Mar 23rd and the choice/assignment of topics will be announced by Mar 30th.
