How to submit your projects
Please follow these instructions when submitting your coding assignments:
- The project directory must be named PX, where X is the homework number. Otherwise, a penalty of 10% will be applied.
- The project directory PX should contain only source files. No binary files should be present in the directory.
- For the Flex and Bison assignments:
- The main file should be called NAME.l (for flex assignment) and NAME.y (for bison assignment). Otherwise, a penalty of 10% will be applied.
- Make sure that compiling (bison NAME.y; flex NAME.l; gcc NAME.tab.c lex.yy.c -lfl -o NAME) must produce a binary named NAME in the directory PX, where NAME is specified in the homework handout. Otherwise, a penalty of 10% will be applied.
- For Java coding assignments:
- The main file must be named NAME.java, where NAME is specified in the homework handout. Otherwise, a penalty of 10% will be applied.
- Make sure the compiling (javac NAME.java) and the execution (java NAME ...) commands can be properly executed when PX is the current directory using J2SE 1.7.
- To electronically submit the homework, tar the PX directory along with the contents and then gzip it to PX.tar.gz.
Submit the PX.tar.gz file on the course moodle page.
Please follow these instructions when submitting your non-coding assignments:
- The submission must be in pdf format only . NO other formats will be acceptable.
- To electronically submit the homework send an attachment to
sharmist@cse.
The subject line of the mail must read
"cs3300_pdf XXXXXXXXXX" (without quotes),
where XXXXXXXXXX is your 10 digit id.
Some general instructions.

The submissions are processed by automatic scripts, so it is very important that the
submissions follow the guidelines specified. Anyone trying to submit without
following the above mentioned guidelines will incur a penalty of at least 10%.

You are allowed to do any number of submissions before the deadline.
However only the last submission will be stored and evaluated.

Please use the same email account every time.

Please do keep the copy of your submitted tar.gz file till you get your grades.

Late homework will not be accepted.
