How to submit your projects
Please follow these instructions when submitting your coding assignments:
Some general instructions.
- The project directory XXXXXXXX (where it denotes your 8 digit roll) should contain only source files. No binary files should be present in the directory. Otherwise, a penalty of 10% will be applied.
- The main file must be named NAME.java, where NAME is specified in the homework handout. Otherwise, a penalty of 10% will be applied.
- Make sure the compiling (javac NAME.java) and the execution (java NAME ...) commands can be properly executed when XXXXXXXX is the current directory using J2SE 1.7.
- To electronically submit the homework, tar the XXXXXXXX directory along with the contents and then gzip it to XXXXXXXX.tar.gz.
Submit the XXXXXXXX.tar.gz file on the course moodle page. Use only .tar.gz, not zip nor any other archiving scheme.
The submissions are processed by automatic scripts, so it is very important that the
submissions follow the guidelines specified. Anyone trying to submit without
following the above mentioned guidelines will incur a penalty of at least 10%.
You are allowed to do any number of submissions before the deadline.
However only the last submission will be stored and evaluated.
Please do keep the copy of your submitted tar.gz file till you get your grades.
Policy for late submissions: We will only accept submissions before the the submission deadlines. Any submission after that will be treated as late submissions. Any late submission will be evaluated only in the eventual situation that the student is failing the course.
