About Me
I am working towards my MS degree under the guidance of Prof C. Siva Ram Murthy at the High Performance Computing and Networking Lab (HPCN). Currently I am working in WDM Optical Networks, specifically Optical Burst Switching (OBS) networks.

- I did most of my schooling in Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Chittorgarh
Research
My current research focuses on Optical Burst Switching Networks which are a category of Wavelength Division Multiplexed (WDM) optical networks with some interesting advantages compared to the other forms of networks. Optical networks are categorized based on the switching granularity as: optical circuit switching(OCS), optical packet switching (OPS) and optical burst switching (OBS) networks.

Worked as software developer at robotics startup. Projects/Modules undertaken are -- A visual programming language (VPL) named ''Viprol'' to assist rapid programming of robots [Turtle, Abacus, news paper]
- Interactive Java Applet and MIDlet for multiple image files uploading [picporta]
- Java MIDlet to monitor through surveillance system [gridSURV]
- Location based system for symbian based S60 2nd Edition mobiles to calculate mobile location using triangulation method and show some parameters like Cell Id, area code, signal strength, battery information, location string etc
White Technologies Group, Noida
Did internship after third year.- Member of team which developed Custom Java Swing Component Library
Birla Cement Works, Chittorgarh
Did internship after second year.- Lead developer of Wagon Tippler Weighing System to provide full automation of wagon weighing system
Undergrad projects
- Member of team which designed and developed interfacing circuitry for Robotic Arm to play Scrabble game
- Member of team which implemented Software Fault Tolerance - Aim to provide a fault tolerance layer between operating system and application program (for more details click here)
- Member of team which developed Automatic Attendance Recording and Voting System (won first prize in state level tech fest Encarta)
