Grade upload: May 2018 (by Ravi)
BTP evaluation: May 2018 (scheduling done by guides, Evaluation Form)
Thesis + turnitin report submission: April 30, 2018 (more details would be sent by Sutanu)
BTP starts: mid-January 2018
August 19: Rupesh will circulate the faculty-student assignments.
August 14 -- 18: Get the signature of your favorite faculty member who is willing to guide you. Deposit the faculty adviser's copy of the form in Rupesh's mailbox in CSE office.
August 12: Rupesh will circulate the BTP consent form by email.
August 3 -- 11: Meet faculty members without a commitment. This means faculty can decide later after meeting all students, and students can decide later after meeting all faculty members.
August 2, 2017: Faculty presentations.

Evaluation

BTech project report in IITM Thesis format
Presentation for 25 minutes + 5 minutes for questions
50% guide + 25% examiner + 25% facad
60% work + 20% report + 20% presentation
Absolute cut-offs: S = 90, A = 80, ..., E = 40
The report and the presentation should include: clear problem statement, related work and how your work differs from it, your contributions, proofs / results / experimental evaluation, analysis of results / implications of results.
