Prajwal Prakash Co-founder, CTO @ Clueso (YC W23)

Prajwal Prakash (BTech, CSE 2022) is the co-founder of Clueso, a Y Combinator backed SaaS startup that uses AI to create software product documentation and videos. Clueso's product is currently used by hundreds of companies across the globe. He previously started Desklamp, a PDF reader for research while still at IITM. It had over 25k users at its peak. He was also a recipient of the Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma institute gold medal at his convocation.

I will cover my journey as a student entrepreneur, from building our product to getting venture funding to changing our core idea. The aim of this is to help you better understand what factors helped me decide to startup, and some tips to balance that with regular college life. I would then talk a little bit about Clueso and what our product does. I will also cover what being a technical co-founder at a startup is actually like. I will relate how some of what I learnt during my courses impacts my day-to-day, and what kind of technical work is needed to run a SaaS company - from full stack dev to DevOps to video processing to securing data and endpoints. I will end by talking about why right now is a great time to build a software startup (yes, it's because of LLMs).
