ACHIEVEMENTS
  • 3rd Prize in Yahoo! HackU 2013 event at IIT Madras. Developed a small hack called Yahoo! AnswersEx which determines how difficult it is to obtain an answer for a question asked on Yahoo! Answers. More details and coverage here 
  • One of the winning hacks in the Yahoo! HackU 2011. The app is Tweets of Interest, which scans your twitter timeline and mails you important tweets based on your interests. 


MINOR PROJECTS

  • Autobiography Extraction from Tweets 
The aim of this project was to study the tweets of a person and try to identify those tweets that can be important for his autobiography. This is a small portion of the Memories for Life grand challenge problem.
  • Converting queries in natural language to SQL  
The aim of this project was to investigate some recent approaches to create a natural language interface to databases(NLIDB).
